Floyd Pentlin is a retired school library media specialist. He worked in the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District (MO) for 26 years and is currently teaching online courses for the University of Central Missouri. He has been active in the profession at the local, state, and national level. He is currently serving on the executive committee and the board of directors of the American Association of School Librarians by virtue of his elected position as treasurer.
